I have to say that I am happy to let go of 2009! This was not the best year at all. In early February, Wes (our dog) became increasingly sick. He passed March 3rd. We lost one great dog!!! March rolled in with more trouble....my dad had to have open heart surgery. It was the scariest time of all of our lives. He almost passed the day of his surgery. The doctors could not stop his bleeding. I can't help but cry as I write this. Sheesh!!! We made it....I believe it was all the prayers and support that God gave us some more time with our dad!!! The silver lining in this was that it brought all the brothers and my sister closer together. April came along not any nicer....Carmen's grandmother was septic. They believed she only had days to live. She made it to recovery. May finally came and we had hoped to end the school year and begin summer. The last day of May, the boys were out of school. Carm's parents came here at that time. We went out to dinner, and returned to find that someone had broken into our house, ramsacked the house, and stole my car. Big sigh!! I'm was finally done with school on June 19th. Yeah! July rolled around and I had terrible foot pain....not new!! However, it was so bad that I would not even want to walk the dog down the street. I couldn't take how crippled I'd become. On July 13th, I had foot surgery. Recovery had to happen and I had to take 6-8 weeks off. I also had to go back to work on July 27th. It was just too soon!! The rest of the year moved uneventfully...well...not bad anyway!!!
I'm ready to have a great year!!! I would like to improve my health!!!Life is good!! With all that stuff that I just typed, I am still optimistic about how life has worked out. Life is good!!!! You can certainly look at all those things with a positive eye.
Today, gives a chance for change. We can start anything over at any time, we don't just need a New Year's Eve. We can look at our events and turn them around. I plan on tackling my health issue first. I want to have the best personal fitness body I can have. It makes me excited about the other roads that will open up when you are at your physical best!!!
Good Health!
Happy New Year's !!!
